Oncor’s annual Christmas Tree Photo Contest entices talented holiday enthusiasts from all over the world to submit photos of their beautifully decorated Oncor artificial Christmas trees to win one of three sensational cash prizes.

How to Enter
Entering in the Oncor Christmas Tree Photo Contest couldn’t be easier:
Simply decorate your Oncor tree in your home and take a photo.
Submit your photo via email to photo@oncor.hk before midnight Hong Kong time (GMT+8) on 22 December 2023. (Hong Kong is three hours behind AEDT, so when it’s 12:00am/midnight in Melbourne, it’s 9:00pm/21:00 in Hong Kong.)

Winners will be decided by Oncor trees and announced on 30 December 2023 via the Oncor Trees Facebook page. Check out your competition right now. New contestant photos are posted every week.

Founded in 1980, Oncor Trees is the world’s oldest Christmas Tree factory with a commitment to sustainability that sets them apart from other Christmas tree manufacturers. Every Oncore tree is constructed from 100% recycled materials. Durable and long-lasting, an Oncor tree can be reused for 30 years or more.
In addition to using only recycled materials in their products, they employ sustainable practices in their factory and estimate that they save at least 6 million living trees from being cut down and disposed of in landfill every year.

Eligibility: Anyone who owns an Oncor eco-friendly artificial Christmas tree.
How to Enter: Contestants must send high-resolution photos of their decorated Oncor tree to photo@oncor.hk by the deadline, being midnight (12am/00:00) Hong Kong time (GMT+8) on 22 December 2023.
Photo Requirements:
- Must feature an Oncor tree owned by the contestant.
- Must be high resolution.
- Must be the property of the contestant.
Selection: A selection board from Oncor Tree Limited will choose three winners. Their decision is final.
Deadline: Midnight (12am/00:00) Hong Kong time (GMT+8) on 22 December 2023.
Notification: Winners will be notified via email. The winners will also be announced on 30 December 2023 via Oncor’s Facebook page.
Usage Rights: By entering, participants grant Oncor Tree Limited a non-exclusive licence to use the images for marketing purposes without remuneration.
Prizes: Cash prizes are awarded to the top three photos.
- 1st Prize: $5,000
- 2nd Prize: $3,000
- 3rd Prize: $1,000
Proof of Purchase: The top 10 finalists must provide proof of their Oncor tree purchase. Acceptable items of proof include a sales invoice, receipt, or photo of the Oncor tree box.
Prize Conditions:
- Chances of winning depend on the number of entries and the skill level of the entrants.
- Winners are responsible for any taxes incurred.
- Winners must provide payment details for prize receipt.
Employee Participation: Employees of Oncor Tree Limited and their families can participate but are not eligible to win prizes.
Governing Law: The contest is governed by the laws of Hong Kong S.A.R.
