FAQ

How much garland do I need for a Christmas tree?

The length of garland you’ll need will usually depend on how tall or wide your Christmas tree is. As a general rule, a two metre Christmas tree will need about 18 metres of garland or tinsel. We always recommend that you buy more garland to be on the safe side. If you have any left over, you can always decorate your mantle, staircase or even front door.

How do you wrap a garland around a Christmas tree?

First and foremost, it’s important to put your Christmas tree lights on, as well as any ornaments. Then, simply start at the top of your tree and work your way down. When you’re wrapping your garland around your Christmas tree, remember to keep the garland loose and about 30cm between each strand.

Does a Christmas tree need a garland?

Christmas trees are designed to stand out and be the focal point of the room. While lights can dazzle and hanging tree decorations add a charming touch, a Christmas tree garland will complement the overall aesthetic of your tree. That’s why we will always recommend adding a garland. You can find a range of garlands in different sizes, shapes, finishes and designs to match your tree.
