    Gargoyle on Tombstone

    Size: 36cm

    The family graveyard is a special place in the forest just to the side of the Dead and Breakfast Inn that holds all the Inn's elder ancestors who have finally passed on and lay permanently in repose.  The gargoyle perched atop the intricately carved tombstone conceals a secret that, along with the two skulls of former servants adorning the tomb, has gone to the grave.

    The gargoyle itself is a darker shade of gray, with hints of brown and green patina, suggesting exposure to the elements. The tombstone is also gray, but with a slightly lighter tone than the gargoyle, creating a sense of contrast.

    The inscription "RIP" stands out against the grey background. The surrounding vines and foliage are a mix of greens and browns, adding depth and texture to the piece.
